iSpring WWC25+WSP Whole House Well Water Chlorinator System
- Clean your Well Water: This heavy-duty and high capacity whole house well water chlorinator system automatically adds chlorine to your well water. According to the CDC, the benefits of chlorination are 1) Proven reduction of most bacteria and viruses in water; 2) Residual protection against recontamination; 3) Ease-of-use and acceptability; 4) Proven reduction of diarrheal disease incidence; 5) Scalability and low cost. In water, iron, manganese, and hydrogen sulfide can also be oxidized by chlorine, converting to precipitated material, which can then be removed by post-filtration.
- A More Efficient and In-Control Chlorination Process Compared to the Systems with Tablets: This chlorinator system can achieve accurate chlorine residuals of 0.2 to 1.0 ppm in water. Coupled with an included pulse water meter, the dosing pump can inject the desired amount of chlorine according to the water flow measured by the pulse water meter. The chlorine residual level can be easily adjusted by using the UP and DOWN buttons on the dosing pump, depending on your water quality.
- Less maintenance required: Instead of checking chlorine levels weekly, this well water chlorine system only requires making a new chlorine solution in the solution tank once every 1 to 3 months.
- Sediment Filter & Test Kit Included: The included spin-down sediment filter takes out sand, rust, dirt, and various large sediment particles to increase the efficiency of chlorination, and extend the pump’s lifespan. The chlorine and pH test kit is also included to confirm the free-chlorine residual after water chlorination.
- Recommendations: It is recommended that you get your well water tested by a qualified laboratory to understand the levels of various contaminants in your water before running this well water chlorinator. To remove the excessive chlorine in your water, we recommend installing a whole house carbon filter WGB32B at the point of entry. Other whole house water filters may also be necessary depending on the level of contaminants in your water. - Optional Parts: You can add on the optional parts based on your preference and/or situation. For detailed information, please refer to the specifications below.
- Chlorine is a strong oxidizing agent that can oxidize most reducing agents in water, such as hydrogen sulfide, iron, etc. Among these chemicals, the oxidized iron, to be mentioned, could turn the color of water into yellow due to its chemical property. To be noted that the chlorinator system can oxidize them but not remove them. For further removal, additional filtration processes may be needed. Please contact us for more information.
